Indications
Thorazine is an antipsychotic medication used to manage symptoms of psychotic disorders, treat schizophrenia, control nausea and vomiting, relieve anxiety before surgery, treat acute intermittent porphyria, relieve intractable hiccups, and with other medication to treat tetanus. This medication is also used to treat severe behavioural problems in children under 12 years old and as short-term treatment for hyperactive children.
