Indications
Voltaren is an analgesic pain-relieving medication used to treat pain or symptoms from osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis as well as ankylosing spondylitis.
Diclofenac sodium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) derived from phenylacetic acid. The drug reduces prostaglandin formation while offering analgesic and antipyretic properties. This allows Voltaren to help ease pain associated from rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, degenerative joint disease, ankylosing spondylitis, and various other similar conditions.
This pain medication is well-tolerated and absorbed, causing few adverse effects.
