Indications

At the first sign of a migraine, spray this medication into the nostrils. Do not inject this medication. Use 1 spray into each nostril. Do not tilt your head back, sniff through your nose, or blow your nose while spraying or immediately after. Use another spray into each nostril 15 minutes after the first spray or use as directed by your doctor. After using the medication, you should lie down and relax in a quiet, darkened room. Side Effects

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Serious side effects include:

• Numbness, cold feeling, or pale appearance of your fingers or toes
• Sudden or severe stomach pain, weight loss, nausea, vomiting, constipation, bloody diarrhea, or fever
• Severe headache, blurred vision, or pounding in your neck or ears
• Burning sensation in the nose, mouth, and throat, and altered sense of taste
• Fast or slow heart rate
• Swelling or itching
• Signs of a blood clot–sudden numbness or weakness on one side of the body, chest pain, problems with vision or speech, or pain or swelling in one leg
• Heart attack symptoms–chest pain or pressure, pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder, nausea, or sweating

Cautions
